Product Description

What the heart feels is often complex and difficult to understand. As we live and grow, we learn that sometimes the best decisions are the hardest to make.

This is Nella’s story of strength and courage, as she becomes a young woman who learns that life’s turns are unexpected. Through family challenges, and a twisted romance, Nella’s spirit must remain strong for herself and for those she loves. But her feelings towards the mysterious new man in Maplewood are not making things easy for her. The more Nella falls for Jake, the more confused she becomes about her own life.

Nella has always been everyone’s rock. But if she crumbles, she may break the binding she provides to her family, and let her own dreams slip away.

HASH(0x9f8da7a4) out of 5 stars Sweetbriar's Where the Maple Leaf Falls is a wonderfully written story about loss May 11 2015
By goodem - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
T. Sweetbriar's Where the Maple Leaf Falls is a wonderfully written story about loss, love, and finding your way. After the tragic death if her mother, Nella takes over her life turning into homemaker, mother to her special needs brother, and even her mother's job. Nella is content with her life until a mysterious local farmhand comes for the summer and opens her eyes to life's endless possibilities -even if that means leaving the only town and family she's ever known. I truly enjoyed every minute of this story. Sweetbriar's characters are interesting and emotionally identifiable. Nella's story kept intrigued and ended way too soon! If you are looking for a new read with a bit of love and a lot of story, check out Where the Maple Leaf Falls.

Coming from a small town and a family that has several members in the military this book made perfect sense to me. I could not put the book down & it left me wanting more. This is the first time I've read anything from this author. I am a a huge Nicholas Sparks fan and this author brought me in and made me feel like I was part of this story just like Nicholas Sparks does. Well worth the read!
