(For that matter, if you're prepared to blow almost twenty bucks on ANYTHING more satisfying than this book, take my advice. You'll need two simple objects: (1) a twenty-dollar bill. (2) a cigarette lighter. Introduce the two to one another - trust me, you'll be way more satisfied by watching the results of that than you would by trying to finish this book.)
Here's the bottom line. Poorly written, lacking any discernable plot, meandering between maudlin, suicidal, and drunk, and it has this great feature where the words just happen to jump between italics, all capitals, bold, and non-sequitors for no apparent reason, other than to just annoy the living crap out of the reader.
All I can say is that everyone invoved in publishing this book, starting with the author, should be made to make a very large contribution to the reforestation cause of choice, to atone for the crime of chopping down even just one single little itty bitty tree to print this garbage on. As a lifelong collector and lover of books, I do not remember a more disappointing and frustrating read.
