Abbott never disappoints. I alwats enjoy reading about the various characters in the paranormal world of Candlefield. However, the main character, Susan is a nuisance. The more I get to know her, the more I dislike her. I don't know if Abbott developed this character this way deliberately. If she did, then all I can say is she did a great job!

Throughly enjoyed reading this seriesReviewed in the United States on March 7, 2018
When I first started reading this 3 book series I wasn't really sure if I liked the book. It seemed to jump around a lot with the different characters. But I kept reading and by the time I finished the 1st book I was heading into into the next book. Now I'm really hoping there will be more books in this series. I have really enjoyed reading about the sups and the humans all living together. Susan is a human living with her three flat mates...a wizard a vampire and a werewolf. All very entertaining...oh I forgot to mention the ghost and the 2 fairies.

The Flatmates are Getting NervousReviewed in the United States on January 27, 2018
This one was more personal this time as the cases the investigative reporter is working on have her flatmates a little nervous. Susan does not believe it but what she is investigating touches on the paranormal. The book had a good story but it felt unfinished. No big headlines, hope the paper does not fold.
