And I almost feel sorry for him—almost. I’m sure, even as a child, he was never read a single fairy tale. Poor bastard.

This book is well written, with only a few types (for example, access vs excess).

Ellery married Hartman in order to gain an art gallery, but the cost higher than she had thought. Now her husband is dead, so she will finally get what she is owed, until the rejected step son comes & tries to get everything from her...

Kieran is full of anger & hate & arrogance... so much so, that it is hard to feel something for him after a while. He’s just totally unlikeable (ex. at one point he drugs her & has her pierced without her knowledge)... What he does is quite unforgivable.

Then she decides to get revenge... & basically acts the same way he does...

The very next day they both seem to act as if all is in the past, they can move forward...

Ugh... Unbelievable... & both are quite unlikeable...

When you pick up a book by an author you have never read you are taking a leap of faith. A leap that you wonder if you will regret taking or not. It's like watching an artist's plain canvas blossom from something plain to something amazing and phenomenal that will haunt your dreams.

This is what this book has done to me. Days after finishing it I still cannot get it out of my head, nor can I forget the stunning cover model and his soul reaching eyes.

I refuse to go into the story, I don't want to possibly ruin anything at all. All I knew when I read this was the blurb and that's all you need to know. Go into it almost blind because I promise you that you will be seeing clearly by the end.

Wicked is a character that is pure Satan, one of those characters that you hate to love and love to hate. One of those that he is so mysterious and sexy that you cannot help wish you were in the story.

Some definite "OH MY GOD" moments, ones that completely shocked me to the core. In a good way, I add. I've read far too many cotton soft romantic books lately and I needed a good book that still had a love basis but would also give me the drama and shock factor I so desperately crave.

Just a phenomenal story written in a way that will keep you guessing right to the end. Fantastic read, I couldn't put it down and I recommend it 100000%.
