To such a degree Cat resists relinquishing her nephew, Malcolm, into his guardianship.

Cat and Andrew simply lit up the pages of this short but smoldering story.
Andrew gives the appearance of being an aloof and hands off kind of guy but beneath that lies a troubled man who, because of his family background, doesn't want to have an affair with the sweet, kind, young and beautiful widow, Catriona.
Add in a four year old boy who is just so cute and you have all the right ingredients for a wonderfully, fast paced story.
Read this book, you wont be disappointed. I wasn't.

I would like to see the female character fight back against the arrogant sp(w)anker. An elbow in the groin while she's draped over his lap followed by a slap and a verbal tongue lashing about him showing respect for her, rather than the imagined slights he is supposedly "punishing" for his own gratification. The first instance reads more like an unconsented assault rather than a mutually agreed erotic encounter. I must be a bit more feisty than these so called feisty heroines haha.
