How do you wear a women's pocket watch?
A pocket watch for a man was traditionally attached to a chain and worn inside his pocket. However, since women’s clothing didn’t come with pockets until the mid- to late-1800s, a woman’s pocket watch was made to be worn on the outside of clothing, usually as a pendant on a neck chain. As a result, women’s pocket watches are frequently considered both a functional time accessory and a lovely piece of jewellery.
Nowadays, there are two distinct styles of women’s pocket watches: those that hang on a necklace, and those that sit on the outside of clothing and have a decorative fob chain.
