Book 4 of the Words for Life series is a beautiful presentation of the Eucharistic Letter, written by Jean-Pierre Medaille SJ in 1660. Through the reading and study of Book 4 I have come to realize the deep love and reverence this saintly Priest had for the Holy Eucharist., and how we can apply his words in our own lives. Sister Rosemary has brought the Eucharistic Letter alive, and she has captured the "heart and soul" of Father Medaille's writing.
This Letter is a fountain of love, wisdom, and deep spirituality, not only for those in Religious Life, but for everyone seeking a contemplative, prayerful way of life.

In this last book of the series, Sr. Rosemary O'Toole brings the focus of Medaille's teachings onto the Mystery of the Eucharist, specifically, his Eucharistic Letter. The Eucharistic Letter - together with Sr. Rosemary's accompanying analysis and commentary - reveals the transforming power found in the Holy Eucharist .... instructing us on how the Eucharist can "effect in me a miracle of love."
Although Book 4 stands alone in its contemplative wisdom, it is best studied alongside all three companion volumes. Each book in this Words for Life series brings us a renewed awareness - teaching us that ... what we communicate and share in life ... is LOVE. Living a way of love is the essence of Medaille's spirituality: "Love Love and let Love love through you."
I have found this Words for Life collection immensely enriching and transforming. Centuries ago, Fr. Medaille understood and shared the heart of "Christ Consciousness." Although it has taken over 400 years to resurface, today is truly the "right moment" for its rediscovery ... and reintroduction. I encourage you to explore the "revelation of J.P. Medaille". Allow his teachings to enrich and transform you. Allow his mysticism of love to be a "Divine Therapy" for your life.
