Revenge never solves anything, will never remove the pain but when planing revenge leads you to love just maybe...

This beautiful written story is filled with emotions such as anger, heartbreak, passion, and love.
Melissa Andrea and Tabatha Vargo capture the reader's heart telling this story of Broken man planning revenge and a woman who want more in her life then the ordinary. Their paths collide changing their lives forever. One life learning to live again, the other finding the spark that has been missing.
This is far from a sweet romance yet it is full of passion. Definitely a can not put down read until the last word.

This was an amazing story. Jacksin lost his daughter due to heart failure, everyone around him dies, he decides revenge is best, he targets the Doctor who denied Jacksins daughter an operation due to his monthly pro bono quota, and the little girl dies. Jacksin ends up kidnapping the doctors daughter, Emily. This story delves into different subjects, including death, and how the person that is kidnapped falls in love with the kidnapper. I would recommend this book, the writing was interesting and the journey was a hard one, but worth it.

HASH(0x9ebc8c00) out of 5 stars Emotional And Sexy Read.... April 4 2014

I had just finished reading "A Family Man" (a wonderful book), and I was searching for another good read. I stumbled on to this one and was pleasantly surprised and pleased. I loved both the H and h. The H kidnaps the h because he wants revenge on her father. The H has just been through a horrible tragedy, a tragedy that is every parent's nightmare. I felt for and empathized with this man. His grief and pain were palpable. His actions were crazy. He was crazy with grief. The h is a good woman. Yeah, I said a woman. Not another orphaned virgin. Thank God! This story revolves around their time together as captor and captive. I enjoyed every page of their developing relationship. The sex scenes were good, but not outrageously over the top. This was not dark erotica. Our H did not abuse or mistreat the h. Well, yeah, kidnapping someone does qualify as abuse or mistreatment, but our H is not a dark sadistic man. This was simply a well written book, with likable and identifiable characters. Yes, I would definitely recommend this book.

HASH(0x9ec4ba50) out of 5 stars Revised Book...Revised Review Jan. 21 2014
By Kindle Customer - Published on

I reviewed this book when it was first released. At the time, it was just 1/3 of the book. It wasn't advertised as a serial novel, and to say the least, I was upset. At the time, I gave it 3 stars. Three stars because I was really enjoying what I read, but I felt like I had been part of a bait and switch scheme.

The authors eventually pulled the book and rereleased it as a full novel. I was delighted and my one click finger immediately twitched.

Unfortunately, I can't give rate this book any higher than my original review. The first third of the book is full of tension and dark emotions. It builds up the premise that this novel is going to knock me for a loop, but it fails to deliver.

I have never seen a more gentle and stupid kidnapper, nor a victim so willing to accept what's happening to her. I was stuck in a state of disbelief as Emily has free run of an unlocked apartment and cooks Sin breakfast. I was shaking my head as Sin caps his bottle of vodka because Emily asks him not to drink with said breakfast. Three times Emily is in contact with others and pretends that she and Sin are dating or having a fling or whatever.

Within a few days Emily is begging Sin to make love to her. Instant attraction aside, really? Of course, this isn't a huge shock because the entire kidnapping plays out like a fantasy date rather than what it was intended to be--a revenge and murder plot.

All in all, the book is okay. It doesn't fit in the genre though, and I was disappointed. I just expected more from the dark build up of the beginning.

HASH(0x9ed5acc0) out of 5 stars A sexy compelling story July 10 2014

A sexy compelling story about heartbreak and finding life again. It was well written but I don't think it could possible actually happen in real life. It was sad what happen to his daughter but I think his anger was misplaced.
I am not a doctor or anyone even close to that position but I think.. Yes, morally doctors should help all those in need but in real life that isn't the case. Sadly the a Hospital is a business there to make money AND help people. Unless you live where there is free health care well... Surgery isn't cheap by a long shot and I'm not just talking about just the doctors fee either. When surgery is involved there are so many people involved in different ways and they ALL need to get paid ( I just had major surgery and am still paying). She was angry with her father because he already meet his pro bono work and pushed
Surgeries that could save lives to other hospitals. Considering how much doctors already work and the stress involved I thought it was sad but a bit unfair of her. Not to mention every time a doctor performs surgery there are major risks involved ( I would think all doctors and hospitals are afraid of lawsuits). I don't think any doctor out there wants their patients to die but there is also so much one person can do. So on that note I thought she was a judgmental bitch.. I mean really her father loved her gave her everything she ever wanted and because he actually turned out to be human she just can't love him like before? He didn't cause the little girls death but Sin is against her father anyway? Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house is all I'm saying and face it we ALL live in glass houses!! Other than that I liked her char a lot and I really loved Sin!!
Also as many people that go through the tour of the Eiffel Tower they found each other?? Haha it IS a book though and this was a good book. The emotions were real and I thought I was a great read!!

HASH(0x9efbd684) out of 5 stars The Wrath of Sin May 14 2014

I fell in love with the shattered pieces of a man. A man whose only focus was to correct the wrong that was done to him in the only way he knew how. He drew me into the darkness and I followed without hesitation or fear. It was his darkness that brought me to my knees.

It was the title that caught my attention. It was the author’s name that held it. Having read all of Tabatha Vargo’s books I knew without a doubt that I would buy this book without knowing anything about it. Having the addition of Melissa Andrea was an added bonus as I was going to experience her writing for the first time.

Needless to say I adored this book. I reveled in the darkness and read with breathless anticipation of what was to come.
Character development was incredible. Not only was I treated to a visual description of all of the characters in this book I bled into the emotional aspects of the characters. Creative and vivid descriptions of the places this story takes us to were perfect.

The storyline was unique into its own which I adored. The authors have taken a genre that is gaining in popularity and put such a different spin on it that I was actually smiling at the creativity and the path I was lead down.

I was drawn in from word one. The intensity of the words that held such heartbreak and emotion drew me in shutting out anything and everything around me. The characters emotions were effortlessly transfer into my mind and soul as I read creating an instant and solid connection.

The words themselves held magic creating a perfect picture in my mind of every room, smell and texture. I was transported into the darkness and I reveled and feared it at the same time.

The storyline held many surprises which I loved. Just when I thought I had figured out what would happen next the authors taunted and played with my mind by twisting the plot and proving me wrong.

Suspense, intrigue and mystery were well played out within the storyline. Heartbreak, loss, confusion, hatred, love, hope and fear are just a few emotions that travel throughout your mind while reading.

I loved the intrigue and suspense of the story. With each twist and turn I found myself with feelings of surprise, longing, compassion and hope. I was lead into the darkness and reveled in it. I held hope for the light and was delighted when it seemed to slither through the cracks and then retreat within the blink of any eye.

The intensity of every relationship within this story was written to perfection. Each relationship was a story within itself. Intertwine these relationships and that leaves us with a brilliant, intriguing, thought provoking story.

Wrapped within the darkness is a story of hope and love. A story of learning to learning to let go. Letting go of the past and release the bitter taste of hate. This is a story of truths and secrets. It is also a story of dreams, desires, fairytales and the ability to have them come to life.

HASH(0x9eeb46a8) out of 5 stars WOW!!!!! April 10 2014

This story has so much power over your emotions. This was nothing that I expected. I cried, laughed and even cussed at the characters in this story. All I wanted to do is jump in to this book. His chary. Just saying Sin's name out loud makes you want to jump in to this book. His character is what all women want and fantasize about. He is a heart broken man and all I wanted was to become part of the story and help him. Emily's character is equally as charming! After everything that he put her though she stayed and helped him. This is a must read!!!! 18+
