This is the first time reading anything by Sherilee gray ,and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed this great story. This is the third book in the Axle Alley Vipers Series and wow what a great read this is, this story will have you emotional you will laugh cry, and even get frustrated and angry with some of the characters in this great story. The story will grab you and pull you in from start to finish. Sherilee Gray has given us everything from sexual tension, suspense, and some action with some really awesome romantic scenes. We have the sweet and beautiful Piper West who is smart ,independent and a little naive, who happens to love her older brothers best friend Cole. But she has set her sights on Cole and wants what she wants and that is Cole ,but Cole wants her to.Cole is handsome ,sexy as hell and is an alpha male and when he gets his passion going for Piper it's explodes the chemistry between them to the boiling point that is wild. There is things this couple needs to overcome in their magical journey that is wonderful. I could go on and tell you more about this great story ,but that would spoil the story for you. I highly recommend that you read this great story because you won't be disappointed.

No ifs, no buts, I love this series and this is a great addition to it! This is a very moving story, so much emotion! Really enjoyed it and highly recommend! This is the third book in this series and has so much heart break in it! A really moving read, in every sense.

After her friend and sister have both moved out, Piper West is finally on her own in the cottage left to them by her Grandma. She’s looking forward to being able to do what she wants, when she wants and with whom she wants . . . but big brother, Deke has other ideas! He’s moved his friend, ex-cop Cole Black into the apartment over the garage overlooking her cottage. Now that wouldn’t be so bad if Piper hadn’t been in love with Cole since she was a teenager but he’s scarred, injured and shutting himself off from life and love after he crashed the car he was driving as a police officer in a high speed chase after a drug dealer. His partner and friend died in that crash. He’s still not come to terms with the loss of his friend, his career and his dreams whilst still suffering from the injuries he sustained both physically and emotionally – he’s wrecked, but still finds Piper irresistible, though het believes she’s the one girl he can’t have.

Oh boy, oh boy, was this traumatic! Both have been in love with each other for years. Both have resisted each other for years. Both have dreamed of being together. Now he’s a broken man, lost his dream job, killed his friend in a car crash when he was driving, seriously injured his leg, no longer feels worthy of love from anyone. She’s fed up of waiting for him to see her as anything but his friend’s little sister but also recognises he has his own issues to deal with.

I didn't realize until I started reading this book that it is the third and final book in a series, but it didn't impair my enjoyment of this book whatsoever. The premise is one I'm familiar with. Man falls for best friend's sister and thinks it's a big deal. I've read many of them and I quite enjoy them. What makes this book stand out from the rest? The unique and unconventional characters. Cole is not just emotionally, but physically damaged. His body bears the scars that are a constant reminder of his survivor's guilt. Piper isn't your conventional heroine, mostly because she's a mechanic. Oh how enjoyed her tactics at driving Cole to his breaking point. And once he reached that point the results were spectacular. I don't really care for third person writing, but it didn't bother me at all when it came to the sexual chemistry between the characters. Oh the dirty things that come out of that man's mouth! There was plenty of skin tingling, good time feels in this book, and just the right amount of drama on the side.

Of all the Axle Alley Viper books, Cole and Piper's story has to be my favorite. Piper and Cole have been pining away for each other since ages but each is oblivious to the other's feelings. Deke being the reason in Cole's case. But fortunately, Deke is the one who provides the opportunity for them to explore their feelings further, even though Cole is sorely misguided in his intentions. Piper has never focused on just his exterior and that is the only thing that is holding Cole back from giving her everything of himself.

HASH(0x9eff0e1c) out of 5 stars Will their love crash and burn? Feb. 7 2016
By Elizabeth E Neal - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Boy loves girl. Girl loves boy. Should be smooth sailing, right? Then why does everything feel so wrecked?

Piper, younger sister to Deacon and Rusty, best friend of Alex (Deacon's wife; see book one) and co-owner of West Restoration with Alex and Rusty (girlfriend of Reid; see book two) has been in love with Cole for years.

Cole, 5 years older than her and Deacon's best friend, has adhered to the man code though and not acted on their mutual attraction, going so far as to give Piper the impression she's just the little sister in his eyes. Oh, that is so far from the truth. Cole had a plan. He was a cop and once things fell into place according to his plan, he's going back home and getting his girl. No one will stop him...no one except himself.

Poor guilt ridden Cole. While on duty, he and his partner of five years, Adam, mutually agree to continue chasing a dealer. Yet, when they crash, resulting in Adam's death and scarring and other permanent injuries for Cole, he puts the brakes on his dream future, deciding he's not good enough for Piper and he doesn't deserve happiness because he killed Adam. *Survivor's guilt is a heck of a thing.* It doesn't help his guilt that Adam left behind a wife, Kate, and a young son, Davey. Two people that Cole had grown close to during he and Adam's partnership.

When Cole returns home and becomes the manager of West Security, Deacon's business, those who know him best can tell he's a changed man. The Cole they all know and love is gone and it doesn't seem like they can get him back. But little glimpses do peek through at times, usually when Piper is involved.

Piper is feeling like her partners doubt her restoration abilities, dealing with a real estate pain in the butt that wants her cottage, and determined to have Cole or let him go forever. She's always there with a helping hand for others, whether they're friends, family, or complete strangers. She truly is a sweetheart and Cole craves her, but doesn't feel he deserves her. It's obvious to us readers he also needs her.

When some one on one time leads to sexy times, Cole flat out says he wants her, but it can only be physical...he can't get emotionally involved, even though we, and he, know he already is. Piper, disappointed yet wanting whatever she can get from him, agrees. We all know where this is going to lead, right? *She's living the old Winger song "Headed for a Heartbreak. Yes, I'm showing my age with that reference, but it's a fantastic song and it fits here. Don't judge me. LOL**

Of course, they're both feeling the emotional connection while enjoying the heck out of the physical. They're steamy together and may just catch your Kindle on fire. But between hiding their relationship from those closest to them, Piper's insecurities regarding her abilities at the shop, and Cole's demons riding him anytime he gets a glimpse of happiness, it's going to be a bumpy journey. The slightest thing may send Cole out of alignment because of his guilt. *Are you noticing the car references I keep throwing in? I can't help it. She works on cars, his issues stem from a car accident...the review just begs for these type of references.*

So while Cole is living in the past, refusing to see he's wasting the second chance he was given, Piper is dealing with current troubles...two men that won't take no for an answer (for two completely different reasons), while watching the man she loves, the man she'd give anything for, struggle with his issues and continually keep her at a heartbreaking emotional distance.

Will Piper take charge of her professional life and demand she be treated equally? Will her newfound stalker catch her off guard? Will Cole realize he's going to lose the greatest thing to ever happen to him if he doesn't fully let her in? Or will he continue to tarnish Adam's memory by throwing away his chance at happiness, his life? Will Deacon accept that Cole and Piper belong together? Heck, first things first, will Cole accept that he and Piper belong together?

One-click now and find out. This is a good book with interesting characters and a solid premise. While it is the third and last of the series, I didn't feel at all lost without reading the previous two. I may at some point go back and read them though just to have the full picture in my head, but I don't feel it's a necessity to enjoy this story.

I love Piper and Cole together. The sibling’s best friend trope is one of my favorites because there is usually such history already between the hero and heroine, adding an additional depth to their relationship. Here, Piper has loved Cole forever and he feels something similar but, besides her being his best friend’s sister, he wants to feel worthy of her. Unfortunately a horrible accident has left him scarred inside and out. I can understand where he is coming from and Gray does a good job of keeping it from being too “oh-woe-is-me”. He’s not pitiful, he’s troubled - still a good man underneath, just fighting a few demons.

Piper was starting to give up on Cole ever having feelings for her, but once she realizes that maybe there is more than brotherly affection on his side she decides to put everything out there to win the man she’s loved for so long. She doesn’t care about the scars on his body, she’s determined to win his heart. Piper is a ton of fun once she puts her mind to getting to Cole, making me smile more than once and leaving me feeling sorry for the poor man.

Sassy, funny and full of heart, Wrecked is a fabulously good time. BTW, I’ve not read anything else in this series and I don’t think that it made a difference. There are a couple of small references I don’t totally understand, but overall it is minor and I think this story can easily stand on its own. So if this is your first too, don’t hesitate to pick it up.

HASH(0x9eff084c) out of 5 stars A sexy ex-cop! Feb. 8 2016

The characters in this book draw you in from the second you meet each one. She's feisty and stubborn but has that bit of insecurity hidden underneath that rears it's ugly head on occasion. He's a wounded man and a shell of the person the others describe knowing in the past, who believes he doesn't deserve anything good in life anymore.

Piper West is happy to finally be living on her own now that both of her siblings have found love and are no longer hovering over their baby sis. She's out to prove to everyone that she's got this and can do big things all on her own!

Cole Black owes his best friend Deke a lot, so when he wants him to move in next door and keep an eye out for Piper, he agrees begrudgingly. How on earth is he going to be able to resist temptation being that close to her?

It doesn't take long for the burning chemistry and attraction between them to explode! Will Piper ever be able to get Cole to want her as much as she's wanted him over the years? And when she figures out what's holding him back, can she overcome it?

Wrecked is the third book in the Axel Alley Vipers series by Sherliee Gray. It can be read as a standalone, but I would highly recommend reading Crashed(book one), and Revved(book two) to understand the characters that are in this novel. Piper along with her sister, Rusty, and best friend, Alex, own and operate a custom car renovation garage. Both Rusty and Alex have found their men, this story features Piper!

Piper has been in love with her brother's best friend, Cole, since she was a teen. She thought she was over him when he left after high school. Now he's back-managing her brother's security firm. Everything she thought she knew just went out the window. She's never been over him. How can she make him understand he's always been the one?

Cole is back in town after a car accident has left him scarred and mourning the loss of his friend. He knows it is going to be tough seeing Piper again. He's been drawn to her, but she's his best friend's sister, so that means she's off limits. He's had to keep his feelings quiet. But after seeing her, he can't get her out of his head. They start a no-strings affair on the sly. They will each get the other out of their system and move on. But what happens when neither has any intention of moving on and some insecurities surface? How can they call it quits, when they both feel they can't live without the other?

Wow what a rollercoaster ride this book and whole series has been! I loved Piper and her generous nature. She fixes. If something is broke and she can help, she will. She knows Cole is torn up in his head after his car accident and she is determined to help him break free of the hold it has on him. Cole is definitely a mess! I can see why he feels this way. The baggage is totally believable and I really felt so bad for what he has endured. Piper is every thing to him and he just needed to work through his crap on his own time frame. People can help, but you have to put in the work to get through it yourself! I was glad he had some ah-ha moments and knew the author was going to write in a HEA for Cole and Piper. Yay! Wrecked is a very fitting ending to this series! Each girl is strong, likeable, and a force to be reckoned with! I would not hesitate to have them as my friends. I was initially drawn to the series because I too, work in what is typically a man's occupation. Sherilee Gray did a great job of showing their vulnerabilities along with their grittiness! I admired the girls tenacity and was happy to see them succeed in business and in love! I highly recommend the complete Axle Alley Viper series as it was genuinely an all-around captivating read!
