5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good Dec 23 2011

For those who are serious about getting quality for a great price, look no further. This is a good quality unit because it is the same as the Seasonic brother. If you are not aware, Seasonic power supplies are some of, if not, THE best power supplies around. The Corsair 850W is the same as the Seasonic as well. What differs between this product and the Corsair is the shorter power cable. I was concerned given my case: Cooler Master HAF 932 Advance. My brother has the same case but the Corsair power supply. He said that he had inches to spare and I took the leap. Boy, I am sure glad that I did!

I bought this during the week long Black Friday deals so I got this for just over $100 (after rebate)!

If you find this to be cheaper than the Corsair, just pull the trigger and have never look back. Just be sure that if you are mounting the psu on the floor of your full tower, think about where your 24pin MB and your 8 pin CPU power connections are located relative to the psu placement. Mid Tower owners shouldn't worry. YMMV!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent PSU July 27 2012

Looks really well made knowing it has seasonic components the PSU is amazing and for the price really good.

The fan is great all the wires are coated with a cover and there's enough PCI-E plugs to support 3 high powered video cards (Currently tested with a 5970 and a 6970 running together without a problem).

My rig is a
Phenom II x4 955 Deneb black edition
8gb RAM
1x SSD
2x 7200rpm hard drives
1 optic drive
4 case fans
2 cpu fans (Cooler master Hyper 212 cooler)
The system is overclocked and the cards are running on full load without any power hiccups whatsoever, the PSU isn't even running hot at all. So far, it works wonderfully! I'm currently upgrading to a bigger case which will allow me to place a third card in it (i'll update and see if it can handle 3 high power cards on full load or not).

4.0 out of 5 stars Great power source. Careful, might make a loud clicking noise. Jan. 25 2015

First of all, let me start by saying that I have owned 2 XFX PRO (2x 500) before and they were flawless, Ive also built at least 10 computers for family and friends with these same brand. Now, this 750W version is everything that was promised and as always it was delivered on a perfect state. Now here is the deal, there is just one minor thing that is really annoying to me with this particular model I ordered.
I saved around 5 months for this monster silent PC, that Ive planned for a long long time. It includes silent fans and a silent (yet powerful) GPU. Every part of this PC was bought for both A.Quality and B.Almost no noise level. So, since Ive always bought from XFX and never had an issue I thought I would be safe this time.
Mistake. Because I didn't thought to read all the reviews I didn't knew about the issue with some units in which the interior fan starts to make clicking noises. We are talking that I'm running Far Cry 4 on Ultra and everything on my PC is smooth without a single sound, yet this *clicking sound* is louder than all my pc fans + gpu fans + cpu fan together. So if you are building a silent system, be wary that you might get one of the units with the clicking sound.
TL;DR: Some of the units have a clicking sound, mine is one, and my silent system is not a silent system because of it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great power supply March 25 2015

Great power supply, looks awesome, comes with literally anything you need to power all of your components. It's almost frustrating how many extra cords I had to tie up and cram behind my system lol

But seriously, I only have 1 complaint which caused me to give it four stars instead of five - no power cable. I had my entire system built and ready to go [I know it's bad luck to build it in the tower first but I usually don't care], and after everything was installed and ready to boot, I realized there was no included power cable. I was extremely irritated at this. I know some PSU's come with them and others don't, but the page never stated that it does not come with a power cable. I finished building it around 3 AM and had to run to Wal-Mart to buy a power cable. For 100 bucks, which isn't too bad for pricing, it should include a power cable.
