unreliable quality - lack of support - dead after 2 months

This camera does everything it's described to do when it's working properly. (I did not use the cloud service, only a micro SIM for recording)
Unfortunately in the two months I operated it it would frequently drop the internet connection or it would lose review ability and would have inconsistent voice connection. I had to reset, pair and reformat the SIM several times to restore the connection and the recording/reviewing function. I updated the firmware once successfully (as prompted) but it made no difference in the reliability or the consistency of the operation of the camera. Finally, when I was prompted to update the firmware again the little YI 1080p home cam went dead. Now it cannot be reset, paired... it doesn't do anything. I have tried to communicate with YI Technology support with no success.
The camera was a waste of money.
