For me, a complete book of Yoga, is a book with pictures. This book is really complete. There are 11 Yoga poses illustrated easy to do. In addition, this chapter is really interesting: "What are the benefits of Yoga." I recommend this book.

My girlfriend has all this yoga equipment at home and I'm in my 30's now and not feeling as flexible as I used to be. I still play soccer and I need a lot of flexibility and strength in my core and legs.

Thanks to this book I understand the different type of "Yoga's" there are so I can implement the one I need for soccer purposes and now I know how to use my girlfriend's yoga equipment too :)

I've been practicing yoga for many years but at times, I have taken breaks for months at a time and always regretted it.

Yoga can and does affect every part of life in a positive way, if you stay with it. And it is a exercise form that can be followed throughout life. Yoga is not just for the young and flexible!

The Yoga Guide is one of the best books I have ever read about this topic. The author has done a great job of explaining the various forms of yoga, the benefits to our health and overall well-being, do's and don'ts for beginners...

It also includes an easy to follow, safe yoga routine (with photos, that's so important) that would be a great starting point for most beginners.

Color photos throughout, nicely formatted and presented. This book is really well done, in every way.

If you have been considering beginning a yoga practice or are doing yoga already, this is a guide you won't want to miss.

It reminded me once again why I should always find time and make yoga a priority. And never skip my yoga practice again!

Highly recommended. :-)

Yoga was a different word for me but I have been searching about Yoga and exercises involved in it. Luckily I got this book which is a complete guide about Yoga. I didn't now that Yoga is from Asia and health benefits associated with Yoga. I feel amazing after I have tried few postures. This book explains the proper history of Yoga, its physical and mental benefits, most importantly postures and few equipment required to fulfill this exercise. Best book on Yoga indeed is here.

I learned a lot about the different types of yoga. I had no idea there were so many! I also appreciate that the author didn't force any religious beliefs on anyone and explained that yoga is not a religion. That was actually something I didn't know. The book also has images of many different yoga positions too! There is a short description of each pose and what kind of benefits you can expect. Definitely recommended to a newcomer to yoga!
