With size being taken into account the controller is actually really good. It feels solid in your hand, connects easily to devices, and the battery lasts a very long time. The face buttons and d-pad are "pressy" as opposed to being "clicky". The shoulder buttons are "clicky". I primarily use this controller for emulation on my Android tablet and have found it to be very accurate.
One note is that the controller I purchased (sold directly by Amazon) had red trim instead of blue like the listing photos. That didn't matter to me at all.
It did take some trial and error to get all 4 connected at once as gamepads but it isnt too hard to do. The problem isnt with the devices, but just the nature of Bluetooth. On android, I was able to set a unique name to each one. On Windows 10, I renamed two of the four and gave up trying on the other two because of known win 10 bluetooth issues. They still all work great in games.
I have primarily been trying good 4 player mame games I can enjoy with my kids. 4 player gauntlet, simpsons, and eliminator to start with.
Another bluetooth issue that cant be avoided is you can only pair with one device at a time, so if you want to use a controller on another device you will lose the original pairing until you pair it again. As long as I left them paired, I could use them again later with no issues and player 1 was still player 1, 2 was 2, etc.
If I knew this was possible I would have done it years ago. Great for 4 people to play off one device.
On the bad side, directional pad seems to only register one direction at a time, so playing fighting games like street fighter is a real challenge. I wish this had analogs and a better d-pad with the same size and form factor
