Our printer is a Canon MX922 and the new print cartridges were recognized instantly. The print quality is excellent and have printed over 200 (4 x 6) photos. The cartridges are still showing half full.
Very pleased with the price. Let's see...Staples sells a 5 cartridge pack for S76.99 + tax. Zulu Ink prices $45.19 with tax and shipping for 20 cartridges.
Have now ordered two other sets of 20 cartridges for a Brother and HP inkjet printers. Will review this latest purchase later.
Zulu Inks is my ink supplier from now on.
I did have a small issue with my Canon Pixma MG5620 printer saying it could not recognize a newly installed cartridge a couple times but as soon as I pulled the front plastic tab out a bit further and snapped the cartridge back down into place, it worked just fine. I probably could have had the same issue with Canon ink cartridges but I am not interested in paying ten times the price for brand name ink to find that out. For the second year in a row Zulu Inks has me smiling.
And I can't tell the difference on the printouts, even the glossy colour photos come out looking great.
I do a lot of printing and these cartridges more than pay for the cost of the printer in the first few months in what I save. My next order will be my fourth purchase of these Zulu ink cartridges.
Looking to save money and have a quality product? Then these are for you.
You can't go wrong with the price, this is the cheapest ink I've ever had to buy for any printer and to be honest pretty much bought my model of printer specifically with Zulu Inks in mind (their great deal was listed right under my printer and was the clincher for which one I ended up getting).
This was a very satisfactory buy and I have a feeling I'll keep getting Zulu Inks as long as they keep making them for my future printers!
EDIT : After writing the above review, I would have thought the seller would have contacted me to replace the 2 inkjets that did not work, PLUS, I had to replace another inkjet, and the 3rd replacement didn't work either, then the 4th one did. So that's "3" inkjet tubs that haven't worked (so far). I had previously given them a 3 star rating. But now, seeing the seller really doesn't care, I am putting them down to 1 star, and would give them a 0 if I could. I don't want to deal with a retailer who doesn't back their product. I will NOT be a returning ZULU customer. So buyer beware.
Didn't work in my MG 6420.
Troubleshot for 3 hours resetting printer, cleaning the head, etc.
At the end of the day, even canons own ink can give the same errors, (1660, 1681)
and besides I bent some pins on the yellow ink interface, rendering the printer broken
so I replaced it with a Brother Laser Printer.
Ink is a scam.
