Yes, its a big flaw in this product. I recently started using it and I came to the conclusion that it doesnt work! The odor won't go away. I put half cup of baking soda in the machine and two tbs of dettol in soap compartment, and run it for 45 minutes on hot/warm water It works magic! The reason I am saying this here is that Affresh is selling this product and it's not cheap. It contains sodium perchlorate (aka Oxyclean) and sodium carbonate (washing soda).

No, is only for washer machines. For dishwasher there’s another product with the same brand.

Really does tide pods leave plastic residue? Wow..
Btw, I use Affresh all the time and it was great for getting rid of the odour but it always wasn’t able to get rid of the black mould that is in the holes on the rubber seal(?) if you know what I mean..
So i always clean the holes with cotton swap myself.
