It scans with about 95% accuracy, depending on the font you are scanning. Practicing using it will help you know which speed of scanning works the best for accuracy.

I've only used the Scanmarker Air Pen on my computer. I've never tried sending scanned text to my iPad. The antenna that comes with the Scanmarker Air Pen is designed for a USB slot. This works easily on the computer. Hi, thank you for your question! Yes, it will definitely scan and read french correctly, all you need to do is set the language to French when using the APP and your pen will be set to read and scan french as the primary language.

I don't believe it is designed with a built in memory. I've only used it to scan directly to documents on my computer. It's only by doing this that you can ensure that you've scanned the text correctly. Not sure how you could do that without it connected to a computer.

I don’t believe so. I think you would have to have a lap top with you to down load it directly to word. Hope that helps.
