How to choose a fitness bench?
When deciding which fitness bench is right for you, consider what is important to you in getting the most out of your workout.
-If you think you will mostly be using it for an incline, opt for a model that best accommodates that. If you require one that allows for room to store barbells and other weights, opt for a bench with storage space.
-Some benches are more heavy duty than others, ideal for heavier weight training.
-You may require a basic bench for simple movements- there are plenty of options in this category.
-Alternatively, you may require a bench that can accommodate more advanced exercises, so perhaps one with more features may be better suited to you. Additional features available include storage racks for bars and weights, incline/decline options, grips for hands and feet.
-Keep in mind the space you will keep your bench. If space is limited, consider going for a foldable option, or a smaller one overall. Benches come in a range of sizes.
If you’re keeping an eye on the price, some second hand benches may be cheaper than brand new ones.
