When can you use a sleeping mat?
There are several occasions that may call for a sleeping mat, the most common would be, of course, for sleeping on. If you are going on a camping holiday or to a festival, for example, they can be affixed to the back of your rucksack and taken with you whilst adding barely any extra added baggage weight. As well as this, they can be used in the house if you have a guest staying over but don’t have any spare bedrooms. A sleeping mat on the carpet can be just as soft as a bed, it’s much easier to assemble than an air mattress and takes up less space. Alternatively, they’re handy for yoga, providing an instant floor mat for your downward dog.
