What are the different types of desk fan?
Not all desk fans are created equal. Some remain static, blowing out cold air in one steady stream, while others swivel and rotate either 180 or 360 degrees. There is a difference in power, too; some are capable of cooling an entire room while others are best suited to personal use. There are heavier models made of metal, and lighter ones made of plastic. It’s possible to charge some fans through a computer or socket, and others through the battery – though battery operated fans tend to be less expensive, smaller and best suited to on-the-go use, mainly due to their size and relative power.
