It does hold a card, my ID fit perfectly,I would think nothing else could squeeze in there without cracking the egglike slider tho. I hope this helps, if you're 17+, steer away from this case. If you want something cheap to hold a card & your phone ad it only needs last about a week, here you go.
Put this case on in early October 2015 & haven't taken it off since. I just ordered another today. Here's my take on the case. It does kinda feel cheap. Doesn't look especially nice, very plain Jane. It does take a beating tho! I'm replacing it after 4 months of rough use. Dropped it more times than I can count & my phone wasn't damaged. The back popped off a few times & on its last trip to the concrete finally cracked one of the rails that the card cover slides on. That being said, it is still secure, but will likely fail completely soon so I'm buying another. You can BARELY fit 1 ID card & one credit card in it. Period. That's fine for me but n
The reason I gave 4 stars is the appareance. I bought the gold, because I wanted a classy, streamlined look (my phone is also gold). The back of the case is a beautiful matte gold, but the edging is a gray rubber, almost athletic looking. Looking back at the images, I see it, but it doesn't show detail too well. The two materials and colors clash and don't look good together. This probably wouldn't be a problem for most people. But since I bought the case to hand out cards for my interior design business, I need to present to the public that I know how to match colors ;)
