Product description
From Amazon
One of the most distressing cases involved a three-year-old boy who was separated from his mother for months at a time. "As the summer wore on, on the very worst days Dustin's last defence would be to clench his teeth together so tightly it was impossible to get the nozzle of the bottle or the spoon into his mouth. In those cases, once he was held immobile, he'd find the staff using another spoon as a lever to pry his teeth open. Sometimes he'd cry out in pain; sometimes his mouth would be left bleeding." McLintock's cautionary tale reveals just how vulnerable desperate families can become. --Carolyn Leitch

This book tells about how she started off with very good intentions, but somehow became too money hungry along the way. She did not have the least amount of knowledge as to how to run a clinic of this nature, nor did she bother to provide adequate staff. The patients, weakened and vulnerable, were in so many ways as much victims to her, as they were to their eating disorders.
This novel proves that there is no easy cure.
