Reginae Carter is the daughter of rapper Lil’ Wayne and reality TV star Toya Carter Wright. She is an actress, who has appeared in movies and TV shows, including The Carter, Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta, and T.I. and Tiny. She lives in Atlanta. This is her first novel.

Karyn Langhorne Folan is the author of six novels, including Pretty Ugly, A Personal Matter, and The Doomsday Kids series. She has also worked with Reginae’s mother, Toya Carter Wright on her best-selling memoir, Priceless Inspirations. She lives in the suburbs of Washington, DC with her husband and two daughters.

Karyn Langhorne Folan is the author of more than 30 books and counting, including three young adult titles for the popular Bluford High series, several BWWM contemporary romance novels, the adventure romance Forever Young (with Scott Kyle), the nonfiction exploration of black women and interracial marriage Don't Bring Home a White Boy, and the Ashes, Ashes post-apocalyptic series. This was a really good book, finished it this evening after reading some of it last night. I usually don't finish a book so quickly. I came across it on my local bookstore website's featured author section. Also, I am writing a book of my own that ties my life into a fictional story, so it was nice to see two young writers who pulled it off very well. There were some moments where I laughed out loud at the funny parts. The names for the rappers signed to Kayla's Father's label were really good and thought out very well. After the ending I thought to myself this was a story from beginning to end that would make a really good teen/family movie, so maybe there will be one. There is some romance but nothing overboard because they are just teenagers. It also shows the characters/authors goodheartedness even though some people betray them in small ways, and in big ways. It is a depiction of what it is like growing up with celebrity parents, and who better to give that perspective than the daughters of two of the biggest artists in the music world. Cheers to the Paparazzi Princesses.

This book was awesome .. I brought this book for my little sister for Christmas after she bugged me and bugged me and it's now April and she have only reached page 45.. So I decided to pick up the book and read it and I could not put book down .. All though it was a few grammar errors I have to give it to the girls .. Me as an 22 year old I will recommend this book to a lot of young teens.. Once again GREAT JOB ladies

I enjoyed the novel and was previewing it for my senior girl scout group. Their opinions are more important here as it was actually written for young girls. They appreciated the inside view of what life is like for kids of famous people. They liked reading about the bling, the special concerts, the stars, but they also noticed and spoke about the betrayals, the pressures from friends and parents, etc. Overall, they enjoyed it and can't wait to read more such novels.

I loved this book. The plot twist shows how fast someone can turn their back on you and how people you trust aren't always true friends.
