Good looking speaker with base

I'm quite happy with my new speakers. My old speakers and base were so old and bad that the first time I turned on my new Cyber Acoustics CA-3090 2.1 Computer Speakers, I was shocked. The base is deep and strong, but take some time to set the control a little lower than you'd like to because only studio quality music will sound great. Others will be distorted if you use your "usual" setting of the base. I gave 3 stars for the volume control, because I need two hands to turn it on. On the other hand, I can place it near either of the speakers and it seems you can plug a headset into it (haven't tried that yet). I also like that that are no disturbing trendy lights on the speakers.

For the price of these speakers, I can’t complain about the sound. Others have mentioned cables can be a bit short and a agree.

The most frustrating thing for me, and the one thing I can’t understand, is why CA can’t use right angle connectors on connectors. Every set of CA speakers I have trashed have failed because the straight 3.5mm connector has snapped. It’s like $0.75 for a right angle one. Poor design and cheap build right where it counts. Save some money and buy logitech right from the start

Pros:
The product got shipped to my place in the matter of 3 days... and that was without paying for fast shipping. That was the most exciting part. As for the product its self, I am a desktop gamer, so having these speakers are pretty good for FPS, as well as listening to my favourite beats while doing my studies... But I realized that if one who is switching from a 2.0 (Basic 2 speakers with built in bass) to a 2.1 (2 speakers and a sub-woofer), you usually notice the crisp new sound, as your ears are not used to it, so it seems fairly new, but you know it isn't the best.
I love design of how the dial is the volume control, headphone jack, and the aux port, which makes things a little cleaner looking, not to mention stylish, with a sleek black modern finish.
Wires were no issue whatsoever. All of them were long enough with extra length to spare!

Cons:
Don't blast this little guy, it wasn't built to take huge hits. If you're in your bedroom or your office, it would suffice to keep it at a moderate volume anyways.
I enjoy the dial volume control system, but it seems like the blue LED in the middle of the dial seems to have one thats more or less burned out... No big, U can probably replace the LED.
Bass boost not as strong as anticipated... Still sounds okay.

Overall:
I gave it a 4 stars, because it isn't perfect, and the bass boost isn't too strong, but not strong enough. If you're an amateur gamer, or if you've got kids, it will be more than enough. It's not like your a producer who needs professional systems to get perfect treble/Bass... even though they don't have the sound quality of a Bose stereo (which are disgustingly priced), but you get what you paid for!

I would recommend to people who mostly use the computer for basic things.
Don't expect professional sound, but expect decent quality for the price you paid!

After reading all the bad reviews I thought this thing would be terrible. I bought it anyway because I thought it didn’t make sense what some of the things people were saying. they were very wrong it has tons of bass it can be loud enough to fill most rooms I don’t understand the bad reviews it has a knob on the back that allows you to adjust how much bass and you can go from but no bass way too much bass. I was just running it off my phone and it was loud enough to bug your neighbours. Sure you might not want to use this to DJ parties but it’s great for home use. It’s mind boggling how someone claimed it had no bass. Maybe they didn’t find the knob or received a broken unit. The tweeters are fine. Nothing special but all the basic frequencies are there.

It’s a surprisingly good sounding unit for the price. I have much better stereo gear like a 200watt sub woofer and studio monitors so I know what decent bass sounds like and this has decent bass. I bought this for my office. No it’s not a 200watt sub it’s 18watt so you shouldn’t expect to fill clubs. Maybe a small party would be ok.

This unit is so basic.don't expect too much on it because nothing is fancy. I have a big Harman Kardon soundbar on my basement and Sony in my living room.but don't compare.I bought this unit for my room and it works fine in my loptop.better than norhing.the sound quality is too deep like you are in a cave.the bass is good,volume control is nice coz you can put it closer to you and the reason I give 4 stars on it is the value for the money and as I said it works on my room but nothing is fancy about it.

I'm not a huge sound fanatic and just wanted decent speakers without the need for 5.1 to replace my beloved creative inspire 5300 set which worked for 15 years, but just gave up the ghost! I did some research and got these. When they arrived I was shocked how small the sub was and the flaky plastic of the satellite speakers. Anyway, plugged them in hoping to be pleasantly surprised....well the shock turned to horror! The sound was just rubbish, never in my life have I heard such tinny rubbish sound. I turned the sub up and before it even got to half way it was popping and going buzzy and making other undesirable sounds. I sent back straight away, I don't think they where faulty, just pure 100% rubbish. I wouldn't even use these on a laptop. Back to more research and increase my budget. I would expect better from a £30 set!

Desde el momento que llegaron la entrada de las bocinas al subwoofer no quedaba asegurada, un pequeño movimiento hacia que se soltaran, pero pensé que si no lo movía no habría problema. Hace un par de semanas empezó a hacer falso contacto, y tenía que mover la conexión de las bocinas al subwoofer hasta encontrar la posición correcta, por que si no lo hacia sonaba solamente de un lado, o sonaban solamente las frecuencias medias. Hoy simplemente dejaron de funcionar las bocinas, sin importar en que posición las ponga no se conectan, solo funciona el subwoofer. Apenas tengo 6 meses con estas bocinas y ya no sirven, así que no las recomiendo.

necesitaba un sistema 2.1 para audio ambiental, soy más una persona de usar audífonos pero me llamó la atención este producto por su bajo precio, hay reviews en internet y pues brindan lo que necesitas, este sistema es muy bueno y estéticamente me gusta bastante, el tamaño es bueno y su potencia igual, realmente no hay otro sistema 2.1 a este precio y con estas características, sirve para mi computadora, celular y visualizar películas, en un cuarto de 6x6 metros, las uso en un volumen medio y se siente la diferencia de tener el subwoofer, la calidad es aceptable y el mando giratorio está muy coqueto(volumen) y tiene auxiliar y entrada de audífonos, su luz led combia bien con mi computadora, realmente es un buen producto en el aspecto de "precio/calidad", lo compré de importación, lo enviaron por DHL, llegó excelentemente embalado.

[Edito] El woofer al mes de la compra dejó de funcionar, no lo uso con el máximo en bajo por lo que me extraña que de la nada dejará de funcionar, y el sonido de los speakers se percibe un ruido de interferencia] Tienen un acabado de calidad, terminado glossy en bocinas y en el controlador de audio, el sonido es bueno para el precio, y bastante longitud en los cables por si quieres acomodarlas de extremo a extremo de tu escritorio.
