I originally thought this was Eucalyptus oil based on the smell and other reviews. It seems that Rosemary actually contains a very similar chemical and smells like Eucalyptus rather than what we find familiar as Rosemary spice. NOW oils have all been strong & good quality thus far, and this one was no exception.

At first it smells almost like a synthetic, awful mix of tea tree and eucalyptus oils.

However, once in the diffuser, and after 10-15 minutes, begins to smell like rosemary.

Aroma lasts relatively longer (about 50% more) than Now's Bergamo or Neroli essential oils for example, and about as long as Now's Lime essential oil (i.e. ~ 6-8 hours).

Ever since mid to late summer I have been dealing with awful dandruff. It is now 9F outside as we approach the winter solstice. So I have been dealing with dandruff a very long time. It had gotten so intense at one point, that it went from flakes, to huge chunks of skin coming out of my scalp like iceburgs. Now it could have been something more than dandruff, but eventually it just went back to dandruff after that. In the past, I used Head and Shoulders dandruff shampoo, but not even that dented my new long bout of dandruff. I did some research and found, that chemicals in dandruff shampoo can even exacerbate the issue. So I decided to try all natural. Soon after a few good solid months of having dandruff, I began noticing less and less hair on my head, and more and more hair in my hair brush. Further research shows that chronic dandruff can actually cause hair loss. Which was very tragic for me, because being part Native American, I naturally have super long, and super thick hair. So I began using Dr Bronners Castile Soap, as my shampoo. I was adding Tea Tree oil to it as part of my dandruff routine. The dandruff improved to the point where I don't really have it anymore. Plus I found that I just am one of those girls who actually has to wash her hair everyday. But once I added this Rosemary Oil to it...It has only been a few days and I am already noticing a difference. The first time I washed my hair with the Castile Soap with Rosemary Oil in it... I could not even believe how easy my hair was to brush through without breakage. Every tangle sounded like a WHOOSH instead of a SNAP CRACKLE POP. So I made a spray with lavender oil and rosemary oil and use it as a through out day moisturizer. It helps keep the frizz at tame. Now that I have been using it everyday in my natural shampoo, I noticed that I again....can no longer even put my hair in a hair tie because its too thick it cant be wrapped around 3 times, and it wont hold up with just 2. That is how my hair always used to be before the dandruff epidemic. So I am excited to see how it is gonna be after I have been using this for a long time.
