What a great gift idea! Delivery time was awesome too! Packageing was in perfect shape. Was an appretiated gift. Kind of unrealistice face fetures but still good. Came with seeds and I heard it grew nicely.

I read that Chia Pets leak. I bought a Spongebob for my son and the Chia Obama for my daughter. They both loved them but the Obama seemed to leak much more than the Spongebob. It grew about an inch and then died. It didn't grow as full as the picture either. It grew straight up, thin and hardly at all on the top. If I could add something to hold more moisture in, it might work better. We still like it and I'd buy it again.

MY CO-WORKER WAS TALKING ABOUT BUYING CHIA SEEDS AND FLAX SEEDS FOR HEALTH PURPOSES.. I THOUGHT THIS WAS A CRACK UP..IT IS SITTING ON HER DESK NOW..SHE HASN'T SEEN IT YET, BUT THE OTHER CO-WORKERS ARE LAUGHING.. I JUST RECEIVED IT YESTERDAY, NOT IN TIME FOR HER BIRTHDAY.. BUT I THINK IT WILL MAKE HER LAUGH..
The previous POTUS has a great looking chia pet but once you try to plant the chia seeds, problems arise. I have run several cycles of chia seeds so far but every time, Obama cannot grow hair evenly or even at all on the top of his head. The image of the hair growing is not like what you will see when you grow it yourself.
