Let me begin by saying I am not a self-described audiophile. In fact, I'm not sure what the term means, although it sounds slightly disturbing.
I like music. I like listening to things. I like the sound to not be crappy. Finally I like convenience.
My wife and I are heading off to the Dominican in a few weeks and want to leave our expensive stuff at home, which meant buying a tiny i-pod shuffle, so we can rock out on the beach and/or hotel room, whilst reading, drinking, or doing whatever actions that may suit us whilst listening to music.
This mini-speaker is perfect. It's accordion like design takes it from small to very small. I've read the description tennis ball sized, as a former avid tennis player I say that is over-stating the speaker's size slightly.
Sound-wise everything is crystal clear and frankly if there were minor flaws in the sound I wouldn't be too upset, but I can't find any. It gets quite loud and I am very impressed with the amplification given the size and the price.
The fact that there is a built-in rechargeable speaker makes it even more convenient and the price makes it a bargain in my book and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a portable way to make your music a little louder without breaking the bank.
