The one that came with the couch itself was huge, round, with an unpleasant swirl pattern, and had no storage so we had to pass on it and find a replacement. First replacement was a bust, but this one works perfect. It was much too tall with the legs so we didn't attach them, now it's perfect height and not having legs makes it even sturdier.
The fabric is soft and easy to clean. I already cleaned chocolate off it on day one from little one and it came off easily with no leftover stains after drying. The cushion on top is comfortable for resting feet on, plus it is heavy and sturdy. Toddler is already standing on it and jumping off it to the couch and it seems very stable and solid.
I like that it is wider than a lot of the ottomans I was finding, yet also long enough so feet from every seat can use it. This looks great and it also means it has tons of storage. And best of all, it was under $200. I am actually impressed, it really is a very good product, especially for the price.
