The product fits well and works fine but it is weak in the hinge/closure area and cracks easily. If you are looking to use this item in a rough environment (helmet mount on motorcycle, etc) keep a close eye on it. You don't want to lose your camera on the road somewhere. Good idea to use a lanyard with this item.

Muss echt sagen , super Teil !!
Grundsätzlich muss ich sagen , dass ich bei Halter und Zubehör schonmal auf günstige Lösungen von anderen Anbieter zurückgreife.
Für Aufnahmen in Fahrzeugen, in Räumen oder draußen auf Stativ habe ich eine solche Art von Rahmen gesucht , da ich finde das die Qualität des Bildes und erst recht der Ton bei Aufnahmen im Case abnimmt. Und speziell für Mounts im Fahrzeug wo man einfach mal die cam raus nehmen möchte ist es wichtig das dies recht einfach/schnell geht , ohne alles auseinander zu bauen.
Bei den billig Modellen selbst wenn die Qualität stimmt ist dies so so gut wie nicht möglich .
Hier löst man einfach die schnalle oben und löst die cam aus dem Halter , die geschlossen einfach super sicher im Frame sitzt . Beste Lösung !

Great Addition to my GoPro Kit

Worth the extra cash. I've used both the cheap $10 ones and then decided to spend the extra for the real thing. I think the extra cost is worth it, at least for me, but your thoughts may be different.
A few things that I like over the cheap $10 frame.
1. Holes for the Mics. For the GoPro4, they really improved the sound quality. I didn't want to jeopardize that with the cheap frame that covers one of the Mics. There is even a little wind screen for the top mic.
2. You can use a the Screen Attachment. With the cheap one, you can't use the attachments. Plus this frame comes with a way to secure the attachment to the main body by way of a little clasp that extends from the frame.
3. You don't have to remove the bottom attachment and screw to get the camera out. This helps if you are in the middle of recording and need to switch batteries really quick. You just release the latch on top and the camera comes right out.
4. It feels like it is made better and will last longer. (You pay for what you get, this is subjective of course)

Some of you may not care for any of these attributes and if that is so, then I'd get the cheaper frame.
