This is probably a great CB antenna if there is anyone left on the planet that still uses a CB.. But it did nothing to improve my Whistler 1650 Scanner reception. I have tried 3 antennas now. The original dinky telescoping antenna that came with the unit is still the best which is barely OK......HELP!!. My unit is OK but I had hope to get a boos by a better antenna. So far no help..
