I was nervous based on other reviews of the bench coming broken. Ours came packed nicely. We put it together with no issues and it works wonderful holding our shoes.
We know not to sit on it (based on reviews) and it doesn't look sturdy enough to hold much weight. But it keeps the shoes contained and off the floor. The darker blue color is very pretty and subtle.

These little benches are terrific and sturdy. I bought two of these for an space of wall where we've never been able to fit any substantial furniture in the small business office where I work. So we're using these and some matching hooks to turn the wall into a coat and show area.

These aren't incredibly high-end or anything, but they are solidly made and they look great. The assembly is straightforward, and I think each one took about 15-20 minutes to put together. Highly recommended, particularly for a tight space.
