I loved this book through and through. Even thinking about it has me feeling all the feels. Their love was unmatched.

Zeus is 19 years older than our FMC LouLou at 17. He’s divorced with two kids and she’s the daughter of the mayor and granddaughter of a preacher.

Zeus and Loulou met when she was just 7 and ran to the guardian monster himself after shots were fired and she searched for safety. One bullet was all it took to connect the two for life. They wrote letters back and forth over the years until Z made the decision to stop. Their connection is definitely unusual but was always destined to be.

Fast forward. Lou is 17, sassy and stubborn and she knows what she wants, Zeus is a smart man, he knows he can’t have her, she’s not cut out for the MC life and she’s 17, but she won’t stop making choices that lead to him coming back into the picture. There is so much tension between the two. Lou keeps pushing but Zeus is fighting the attraction and connection to one another until it becomes too much and the tension snaps. Maybe because Lou knows exactly how to push the MC Prez to give in but you’ll see. The spice between these two was off the charts, and let’s not forget about that sucker scene. Whew. Daddy Z takes care of his woman and he ain’t one for backing down.

This book was not just about spice as some might have you believe. Loulou has had a life no kid should ever have, she beat cancer once as a child and now she's hiding a big secret from the man she loves. Her story is so beautiful and Giana truly painted a picture with the words she wrote on paper. This book was spicy as hell but it was also beautifully written and had me tearing up many times. I love their love so much.

This was the first book that I read of Giana Darlings. I don’t even remember how I stumbled across it, but I am SO glad I did- because she is one of my absolute favourite authors now.

What completely grabs me any time I read a book by Giana Darling, is the detail, not only in the storytelling but in the setting and all the characters. Her characters feel SO real, from the descriptions of them, to the way they talk and interact with each other, it completely pulls me in. (And I totally wish they were all real lol).

There is the whole forbidden age gap element in this book, but it didn’t bother me at all. The way that the characters develop and grow together just made their relationship feel even stronger and more powerful. Zeus and Lou Lou’s chemistry is just completely beyond anything I could explain, it’s sweet, it’s so hot, it’s EVERYTHING!

Beyond the amazing relationship between Zeus and Lou, you also fall in love with all of the other characters in their lives. The entire Fallen MC world completely sucks you in,(this was my first MC romance) and I hope she never stops writing about them because I want to read about every.single.character.

I have read this book twice so far, and will probably read it many more times in the future. Every book in this series is amazing, and I can’t say enough about how much I love them all. Zeus and Lou Lou are my absolute favourite couple, I can’t get enough of them and the Fallen world.

I loved Zeus and his sweet, dark heart. Lou Lou is a girl from the right side of the tracks who has a dark side, sparked by her relationship with the much older Prez of The Fallen MC. Zeus tries to fight his feelings for Lou but is always there as her guardian monster. Their relationship started out platonic when Lou was just a young girl and Zeus took a bullet to save her and ended up in jail for ending the life of the one who shot at her. This sparked a war between 2 biker clubs and Lou’s father, the mayor was involved with the other MC. When he found out about Lou and Zeus, he disowned her, sending her into the arms of Zeus, the only man who ever truly loved her. Zeus and Lou endured a lot of heartbreak and suffering due to Lou having cancer and the war with a cartel and rival MCs. But their loyalty and devotion to each other remained strong and they got their HEA. This is a great series full of strong characters and great plot lines that keep me riveted.

WOW. This book. This BOOK! I can’t even articulate how good it was. (But I’m gonna try!) This book has it all. Forbidden romance? Yup. Incredibly sweet scenes? Yup. Steamy stuff? Double yup. Super intense suspenseful parts? Yup. A plot that twists and turns in all the right directions, taking the overall story arch from the first book and building on it and making this book unputdownable? Oh, YUP.
Unlike the first in the series, <i>Welcome to the Dark Side</i> gives us point of view chapters from both the hero’s and the heroines’ points of view. This is a must for MC romances (though with the first book the limited perspective worked), since it’s guaranteed that there is a lot going on with the MC that the heroine just isn’t privy to. I absolutely LOVED both the hero and the heroine. Darling deals with tough issues like cancer and domestic abuse in a sensitive way, but the book still doesn’t lose that hopeful feeling.
This is one of those books that makes me wish that I didn’t hand out five stars all willy nilly. I’ll be adding this to my reread list.
This book gets 5+++ stars. If you like dark romance, what are you waiting for? READ THIS BOOK.

The good - Well written with well scripted characters. As individual characters I was interested in Zeus, Louise, HR and Mute. Not so interested in Cress or King though. Also, if you forget the age gap, the bed scenes are hot

The bad - Some of the plot lines don’t make much sense/ ring true. For eg, her father hates the MC and Zeus and her mother seems to go with her father but then the mother of the heroine and the grandfather of the heroine (without much drama or reason) flip over to support the 17 yr old marrying as 36 yr old. Also, it’s a bit long

The ugly - the age gap is too much (19 yrs) and it’s constantly mentioned that he raised her from when she was a 7 yr old child. The ick factor that comes with that is really bad. As a result I just wasn’t invested in their story and didn’t really care much for their romance

I must say, I am not a big fan of MC stories- not really sure why but it’s not my go to but this book! Zeus!

What an epic character! Big of life, love, vengeance! He’s just massive (being 6’5 didn’t hurt either haha).

And bless lil Loulou, she literally dug her claws in and would not release this poor man. What a very weird meet where he basically saved her life in so many ways but in all the ways that mattered she gave him back his.

What to expect?
Swearing (lots of it, absolutely fabu!)
Smexing (even actions leading to smexing was pure fire)
Gang-ish (it is a MC book after all)
Lots of brotherly love, loyalty and just togetherness

I REALLY enjoyed this book! And GD is a new to me author so now I need to stalk her life.

Wow this book has taken my heart and wrung it out dry. What an amazing ride this book has taken me on. I thought the first book; Lessons In Corruption was good, I gave it 5 stars but this story was phenomenal and deserved 10 stars and more.

This story spans the years of when the president of The Fallen MC club Zeus Garro takes a bullet for a seven year old Louise when she gets caught up in a fight between rival gangs. When he gets sent to prison for the murder he committed we read the letters exchanged between Zeus and the young Louise over the years and how the connection and friendship between the two grow, I fell in love with this bear of a man the minute I started reading about him, he was so alpha, so sexy yet so biker bad ass too. Perfectly imperfect in all ways !!!
The character Louise was another amazing person to explore. That girl knew exactly what she wanted and set her heart on getting it. There was nothing seedy about how this panned out but just absolute perfection to read how these two characters come together - they were made to be together even though there was a nineteen year age gap. The chemistry, the gravitation, that magnetic pull between these two people was just so erotic, beautiful and perfect to read that it made me cry in parts, and yet feel totally frustrated in other ways. His dirty sexy mouth made me squirm he was so utterly sexy I wanted to climb him like a monkey, the sex scene's were scorching hot - it was just amazing writing.
Secondary characters like dear Mute, HR, Nova and Reece just added to the enjoyment of this wonderful story.

All in all this book was perfection and a bad ass MC book just how they should be done, full of violence, passion, love, hate, anger, betrayal but most of all it shows us how even the most hardened of men put loyalty and family first. Zeus Garro is one of the best characters I have read. Tattooed and built like a mountain, tough and afraid of no one and would kill a man with his bare hands if he felt the need and yet would go to the ends of the earth to protect his family, his woman and his biker brothers. Yep Zeus Garro is THE man and this story is one I will NEVER forget. !!!!

What can I say about this book to give it the credit it is due. Its a rollercoaster ride of emotions from the start to the end. This love story starts young and grows in the heart of a neglected child for a man society says is wrong for her. This book will have you in tears of enjoy, sadness and complete and utter despair. I had so much hope for the lost character in this story and it gutted me to the core when the time came. This was a puzzle piece fitting together to see who was behind the scenes causing chaos for the fallen and some you would be surprised at. Amazing read, so worth the tears. On to book 3.

This is seriously becoming one of my top favourite series EVER.
We met the son in Lessons in Corruptions and now it was time for the dad to find his HEA.
Little bit about the book:
Fate, Luck, Carma-whatever you might call it, brought Loulou and Zeus together when the latter (26 at the time) saved a 7 year old Loulou from dying by putting himself in frond of a bullet.
Now 10 years later, Loulou can't forget her guardian monster, and Zeus starts noticing that the little girl he saved once is not, in fact, a girl anymore.
Still the problem remains that Loulou is the mayor's daughter, the arch enemy of Zeus's MC Club that tries to destroy them. Plus there is war coming towards the club when bad stuff start happening.
Can these two make it happen? Can they have a future in the real world?

I loved this book. I'm in love with Zeus (wich it was expected) but I also loved Loulou. Her strong character, the darkness in her soul that attracted Zeus, her strenght to go through two chemos and come out stronger and her undying love for Zeus Garro and his club made her more mature for her 17 years and I loved that about her.
Now Zeus was..... Zeus- the God of Thunder. Broody, Unapologetic, and Killer. He was everything a prez of an mc club should be (if I ever knew or saw one).

Giana Darling has an incredible gift of writting very yummy men. Seriously yummy. Like, chocolate cake with a vanilla ice cream scoop on top yummy.
I TOTALLY recommend not only this book but the whole series. Me personally, I stoped reading it on KU and bought it so it can go on my Fav shelf on my kindle and read it whenever I want.
