Nice device to expand storage on my MacBook Pro 2015 13" Retina. Originally, I had a 128GB SSD which is too small for even upgrading the OS. After trying another 512GB that ended up dying after 2 months, I tried this one. This device was installed with an adapter card (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07SCPSX7L?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and overall it fit well and took about 10 min to install. Installed using by holding CTRL-CMD-R when booting and was able to use internet recovery to install Monterey. Used a Time Machine backup to load back most of my files and applications. The SSD seemed a bit slow to load up initially but overall it's much better than my 128GB performance. Hope it lasts!
