5.0 out of 5 stars A Continuation of Heart Warming, May 20 2013

Donna Ball has really created a setting in her Ladybug series that leaves a person wanting more. Ladybug Farm is a place of fun, warmth and true peace, but of course she throws in a lot of chaos, fun, a bit of a house mystery and tears!

I recommend not only "Love Letters from Ladybug Farm" but her entire 5 book series on this.

Get ready to sit down, cup of tea (or whatever you prefer to have), a warm blanket if needed and settle in for a comforting, heart warming read.

5.0 out of 5 stars The "Happily Never After" Novel of True Hell, May 20 2013

This has to be the most dark, twisted and severely disturbed novel I have ever read. It is not for the faint of heart! Jeremy Robinson has surpassed all expectations of what a horror novel is supposed to be and made it worse. Move over Stephen King, Dean Koontz and Richard Layman! There's a new dark mind in town!

After reading a horror book I can usually just close it and forget it. Maybe re-run through my mind some of the more disturbing points or some of the plot that I liked. But with this book, I felt very disturbed for days! That feeling of no hope, no good only bad.

To me the book was fast moving, gory details, and through out the entire novel you knew something was going on but it just seemed a little out of your reach. Don't worry it all comes to a nasty, shocking climax that will leave a squirming worm in your stomach.

ENJOY! I suggest this book to people who really love to feel afraid, their preconceptions disturbed and need a different style of horror book that sends your mind over the edge!

5.0 out of 5 stars Downton is the place to be........, Feb. 23 2012
This is one of the best TV series I have ever watched (and I have seen ALOT). "Upstairs, Downstairs" it is NOT. So much better. I recommend buying this one because you are going to want to watch it over and over. The scenes of the gorgeous "home" of the family is astoungingly beautiful, the surrounding landscapes are breath taking and the period dress is wonderful. There is so much going on, you have to watch it intently! The story lines between the servants downstairs is magnificent and the characters are definately made for you to love and hate. Same goes for the upstairs Lord of the manor and his family. All are well played and the storyline never leaves you disappointed. Maggie Smith (the Dowager Duchess) does a "crack-up" job; you love and hate her all at the same time. I watched the first season in a weekend and quickly ordered the second season and couldn't wait for it to come. The family goes through alot of turmoil because of what is happening in the world around them: The Titanic sinking, WWI and much much more. If you love the British type of programs, this will NOT disappoint you. I hope it is one that will run for many years to come. They didn't call it a "MASTERPIECE CLASSIC" lightly.

4.0 out of 5 stars Stepping back in time......, Feb. 23 2012

I always love these types of movies - Victorian Era. If this is your type of movie then I highly recommond The Elizabeth Gaskell Collection. Wives & Daughters is a beautiful look into the world of struggling with parental love, personal love and a budding young woman's first steps away from home. While the main lead is a very soft and seemingly delicate woman, she does prevail. Alot of twists, added new characters as the movie goes on but well worth the watch.

Now Cranford is a very heart warming story of a village in England. You are immediately drawn into the two main sisters lot in life, with again many twists, aggravating protagonists (which is perfect) and hidden secrets of the past that eventually come to light. I will not give away any story line, but it is a sweet, sometimes heart renching saga.

North and South is the best of the three. A different swing on the main story of Pride and Prejudice that has you waiting with baited breath for the next clashing of the two main characters. I highly recommmend watching this one if you loved Pride and Prejudice. And who can resist Richard Armitages' deep voice and gorgeous blue eyes! Just seeing him act is worth the show :)))
