BESTEK 3-Socket Cigarette Lighter Adapter DC Outlet Car Splitter with Battery Power Meter
BESTEK 3-Socket Cigarette Lighter Adapter DC Outlet Car Splitter with Battery Power Meter

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, July 27 2016
Previously thought that only one of the 3 cigarette lighter ports works, but it was user error....there are on/off switches for each port which is nice. Voltage monitoring is a nice feature.

Stick and buttons are a bit lower to accommodate the touch pad, but not too noticeable. Works fine on PC even when using an Intel-based USB controller (1st gen PS3 TEs had a compatibility problem).

1.0 out of 5 stars Ok until it broke, March 17 2016

Maybe I got a lemon...but after 3 months the lid's heat insulating layer came apart, so the foam inside is visible (and thus prone to leaks and doesn't insulate as well as it should). It was good while it lasted.

Typical TPU style case. Back is matte, side is glossy whch us good for grip. Cutouts for the USB and 3.5mm connectors are more than adequate. Camera cutout has a raised edge for protection when you put the phone down on a table. Buttons are relatively easy to press, although a bit harder to tell the buttons apart by touch compared to the bare buttons.

Note: The Fosmon tempered glass screen protector will not perfectly fit with this case, but still works if you dont mind the case pressing on the edges

Purchased for the sole reason of connecting a Madcatz TE Fightstick (PS3) due to USB controller compatibility issues. This one has a compatible VIA chipset. Windows 10 detected the stick right away in the Game Controllers settings.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good product, but with some minor issues, Jan. 11 2016
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Good product. Not the most user friendly set up experience due to a lack of a physical keyboard (not the fault of this unit), but it's simple enough to figure out.

Pros:
- Good performance overall; no video stuttering (at least at 1080p; don't have a 4K TV to try)
- Cost effective

Cons:
- Occasional audio stuttering (sound cuts out briefly during video playback with apps, e.g., Kodi)
- After opening Kodi, I switched to another streaming app but couldn't play video. Had to restart the unit, but no issues after that.

UPDATE: Turns out the audio issue I was experiencing was caused by a faulty HDMI cable shipped with the unit. Swapping the cable with a good one fixed the problem. +1 star since it's not the Android box causing the issue.

Controller kept disconnecting randomly (even with fully charged batteries), so the game was unplayable. Thankfully Amazon was willing to take returns.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent Case, July 15 2011
I've had this case for a few months now, and I can say I'm pretty happy with it considering the price (bought with Amazon gift cards).

This case looks and feels really sleek. From afar, it looks like any other leather notebook...unless of course, you see the rear camera hole or the side buttons. I really like the fact that there is no awkward rectangular cutout on the back of the case for the iPad speaker. So if you want to make your iPad look professional or attract less attention, this is a big plus.

One thing I noticed was the hole for the front camera. In one of the product pictures, the hole is cut out in a similar manner as the one for the home button. The unit I received has a circular hole punched out. Not a big deal though.

The build quality is alright, but not the greatest. The material that holds the iPad in place sags and stretches over time. I had to place some rubber spacers on the inside of the sleeve to keep the iPad positioned correctly since the cameras become misaligned with the holes. If you prop the iPad up in portrait mode using the case's stand mechanism, you'll find that the iPad sags a lot out of the sleeve, particularly on the side where you insert the iPad. Perhaps a bit of velcro will solve this problem, but I haven't decided on what the best solution for this sagging problem is.

As for protection, it does its job for protecting the screen and back. The corners, however, are left relatively exposed. My iPad was dropped from about 1 meter height, and it landed on one of the corners. Since there was a bit of protection, the slight dent was minor.

The screen protector that came with this case is pretty standard. Not sure if I just got lucky or not, but the installation was really easy to do (I usually mess up my phone screen protector installations). My hands are oily, so the protector is as much of a fingerprint magnet as the screen's glass itself. Overall, it does a decent job.

Overall aside from some of the issues described, this is a good case for $25.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lots of modding potential, Dec 8 2009
The first thing you notice is how much thought they put into the packaging box. They tried to imitate the official Madcatz Street Fighter IV TE box with the magnetic cover and all, but it can be worse.

The art on the actual stick isn't the greatest. Again, it's trying to imitate the original, but oh well.

Out of the box, the controller feels quite cheap. The joystick has a bit of play in the neutral position, probably because the spring is a bit loose. There are also times where if I flick the stick in one direction, it'll swing back and register the opposite direction. This could probably be fixed by stretching the spring to make it tighter. However, there's the option of taking the stock joystick out altogether and putting in a Sanwa JLF joystick as the mounting holes practically have the same orientation.

The buttons feel kind of mushy. They only register until you depress the button pretty low, and they have a bit of play within the button housing. However, these also can be swapped out with some Sanwa buttons. Be warned though, the holes are about 28-29mm in diameter so a bit of sanding will be necessary to make them 30mm.

Overall, the stick is passable in its stock form. It's big enough and works as a nice beginner arcade controller, but it can be made much, much better by swapping out the joystick and buttons. Some soldering work will need to be done, but it'll be worth it in the end. For more modding info, refer to the Shoryuken Forums (can't post link).

Alternatively, you can buy the Hori Fighting Stick 3 for PS3 (which is a tiny bit cheaper). Modding that one requires a bit more dremmeling work though. Ideally, a Madcatz SF4 SE arcade controller would be the easiest to work with (drop in replacement for everything), but they're difficult to find for around $50-60.
