5.0 out of 5 stars Great Sophomore DTP album with many new members, Dec 27 2005
This review is from: Disturbing Tha Peace (Audio CD)
Old Members: Luda, Shawnna, I-20, Lil' Fate, DJ Jaycee & Playaz Circle
New Members: Norfclk, Field Mob(we know em we love em), Shareefa,Bobby Valentino(new since the last DTP album),Lazyeye(metal band...pretty average)
Each bring a different flavor to the tracks...Which is the best formula for a classic album...
Unfortunately, this isn't it. They still have a few kinks to work out. They need more tracks like "Come See Me" by Smoke(of Field Mob) & Stat Quo.
The best members are : I-20, Smoke & Shawn Jay (Field Mob), Luda, Lil' Fate,Playaz Circle & Brolic D, Perfect Harmany & Small World (of Norfclk)
Look out for upcomin albums...they gon nbe hot...

5.0 out of 5 stars Opeth - Blackwater Park, Dec 24 2005
This review is from: Black Water Park (Audio CD)
This band is simply the greatest ever. I recently started listing to metal and I love Avenged Sevenfold and Opeth because both bands have great singers, guitar riffs, solos and catchy tracks...
Opeth goes from HEAVY HEAVY STUFF to melo acoustic breaks...Mikael Akerfeldt has a beautiful voice and they seriously take the guitar to another level...
One Word for them:
outstanding album
(see also Still Life, Orchid, Damnation, Deliverence, Ghost Reveries, My Arms Your Hearse, Morningrise and Lamentations)

5.0 out of 5 stars Opeth is awesome, Nov. 14 2005
This review is from: Ghost Reveries (Audio CD)
There's only one thing i never liked about Opeth (and all death metal for that matter) and its that demon-like voice that the singer uses in the heavy parts...i hate it cuz u dont understand what he says...and the lyrics are greatness...they find the art in sadness...and the guitars on this are amazing...drums are just the same everywhere :P...double bass kicks all the time...awesomeness...peace

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible, Sept. 18 2005
This review is from: Certified (Audio CD)
This is the first David Banner album I buy...and I'm happy with the purchase:
Lost Souls: Great opener...impressive 10/10
Treat Me Like (Feat. Jadakiss): Infectious beat...Banner's flow could've been better...Jadakiss' verse is staight gangsta...okay track 8/10
Gangster Walk (Feat. Three 6 Mafia, 8 Ball, MJG):Never liked Three 6 Mafia, but i like 8 Ball and MJG...but this song is quite annoying : 6.8/10
2 Fingers (Feat. Jagged Edge):Awesome beat, Jagged Edge adds alot to this song, Banner sounds funny at the begining of the second verse 10/10
Play: The first single...a lil bit weird uncensored I find...too much sex talk...still a great innovative track 8.5/10
F**king (Feat. Jazze Pha): Banner's voice is great on this track(not so crunk-ish)...the chorus makes me laugh...10/10

Thinking of You (Feat. Case):Talks about a relationship...deep track...nice chorus...great beat 10/10
On Everything (Feat. Twista):INCREDIBLE!!!BEAT IS SOO INFECTIOUS!!!...split-verses...TWISTA AND DAVID BANNER...they should come out with and album together 10/10
Certified (Feat. Marcus):Don't like this one much...just the beat is okay...5.9/10
Ain't Got Nothing (Feat. Magic & Lil Boozie): 2nd single...Probably my favourite on this album...AWESOME BEAT...Magic spits fire...David Banner spits fire...Lil' Boosie spits gasoline and makes Magic and Banner look even better... 15/10
Bloody War (Feat. BG):Never liked BG's flow but his words stay stuck in your head for weeks...1 and a half verses each and half a chorus too...beat is crazy...10/10
Westside: Talkin bout the West Coast rappers...dissin some...givin some props...awesome hook...don't know the artist that does it though
Take Your (Feat. Too Short, Bun B, Jazze Pha):I don't like the hook, Too Short's verse is hot, Bun B's stuff is always hot...Banner's verse is hot but this song's chorus gets annoying 7/10
My Life (Feat. Sky): Great guitar beat...Chorus is soulful...Cadillacs On 22's of Certified 15/10
Ridin (Feat. Talib Kweli & Dead Prez):The beat could've done without the guitar picking in the backround...I love Talib and Dead Prez and them together along with David Banner made me love them even more...Hot song(but as a white boy, i did not appreciate the cracker hating) 15/10
X-Ed (Feat. Kamikaze):Crunk song...great song...nothin else to say 10/10
Crossroads (Feat. Grout): Probably Banner's most groundbreaking song ever...great track...he does this song with a rock band...It's Banner's view on the world...and on life...breath-taking track...10000000000000000/10
Banner's productions are full of great stuff and most of them have a nice guitar riff and I really admire that because he keeps a country feeling to it...and I love it...great album...BUY IT
