3rd set I've ordered. Works for a heel spur obtained (and continued) by running too much and age. I wear the neoprene during the run and the silicone one around the house and at work. I've gone from hopping or walking on side of foot after run to being able to walk almost normal.
Reason for the 3 starts is durability....especially given the price vs. cheap cost to manufacture. Of the 6 silicone sleeves (3 orders), 4 broke within 3 weeks and the most recent set broke 1st day in my seat on an airplane (i.e., almost no movement). Except for the most recent one that was obviously defective (possibly a seam at stress point at top of foot), the others usually wear down & break during work around the house (i.e., uneven surfaces, carrying items, stretching, etc.) which is more understandable.
To mitigate the price/durability problem, I now use the broken silicon sleeves (cut to fit) inside the neoprene sleeves for walking. This also makes them easier to pull my socks over.
