Add Items to Your Wish List or Registry from Other Websites

You can add items from online stores outside of Amazon to your Wish List or registry using the Amazon Assistant browser extension.

To install Amazon Assistant, see the instructions here: Install or Uninstall Amazon Assistant.

  • If an item you've added to your Wish List or Registry from another retailer is also available on Amazon, you'll see a notification about this when adding the item using Amazon Assistant.
  • Friends & family browsing your Wish List will see non-Amazon items listed with a Shop this website button. If they click that button, they'll be taken to the store where the item is listed, and the transaction will take place outside of Amazon.ca.
  • When you purchase an item from another website, the seller of the products on that site will charge your credit card, ship the product to you, and handle all customer issues. Amazon won't share your shipping address or any personal information with that website. Amazon.ca also has no control over your experience once you leave our website, and the A-to-z Guarantee doesn't apply to these orders.
