If you purchased an e-mail or text message gift card that doesn't arrive, you can resend it to the recipient.
Resending the gift card will generate a new gift card for your recipient and the original gift card will be deactivated.To reissue an e-mail or text message gift card you purchased:
Some e-mail providers give users the option of blocking all e-mail messages that originate outside of their domain. You may want to check with your recipient to make sure their e-mail is configured to accept e-mails from Amazon.ca.
We'll contact you by e-mail once we have canceled the original gift card and issued a new one.
Note: If you do not see a Resend it link, the gift card was most likely redeemed by the recipient.
