LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I'm a kids yoga teacher and I adore this book! There are so many simple breath practices that are perfect for kids. Stretch your arms like a cat, blow on your hot chocolate to cool it down, etc. There are so many awesome ideas. I love this book and my yoga students do too!
I love this book! Each page contains a different relaxation technique to do with your child or class. I read one or two pages to my 7 year old son almost every night. It is helping him deal with anxiety that used to arise at bedtime.
What a great book full of mindful exercises. I use this with my kids ages 2.5-6 they all enjoy it. It has helped my 2.5 year old calm down when his emotions get too high. I hold my finger out and tell him to blow out the candle.
This book is wonderful! The exercises are short, so you can string a few together OR pick the one you need in the moment! Once your kids have done them a few times they can utilize them on their own too! Great skills, well written, perfect for the intended audience AND for adults ☺
Exceeded expectations. Bright colourful pictures and bite sized approachable exercises. My little 4 year old asks for the book often and reaches to do the exercises together when she starts to have feelings that are just too big to manage. (Or when I start to have big feelings ;) - let's blow on some soup together Mum.)
I love this book so much! Bought for my classroom at school. Also use it for Primary Mindfulness Club. The students love the breathing exercises and the pictures are bright and colourful. Even my colleagues are using it now. I highly recommend!!!
The activities are wonderful to give the children opportunities to visualize and practice breathing. Great to use between transitions, particularly after recess, and again after lunch. Highly recommend this book!
