Installed in 15 minutes and totally worth it
September 10, 2017
I purchased the version that attaches directly behind the drip rail. They went in easy. When you go to install them, remove the farthest-most screw on your gutter and snug this spout in behind the rail. Mark it with a pencil through the screw hole and remove the spout. Pre-drill through the plastic before reinstalling the spout behind the rail and screwing into place. Replace the vinyl trim tape over the screws and putty/caulk as needed. All four installed in about 15 minutes, and considering we had no ends on our eaves at all, this is a great improvement. It sits a bit far away from the rail, but that will allow you to still slip things in your awning track through the gap these leave. Buy these for $15 and save yourself from waterlogged corner seams and black streaks from drainage.
