I was almost going to cancel the order when I realized this parts is a Japan-built version, because some one told me I have to use America- built one as my car's VIN starts with a number instead of letter "J". I searched some online forum and formed an idea that the only difference between them could be the incompatible electric connector, which, is used for heating element and a built-in motor, to change the direction of the mirror. I was planing to use the existing electric connector of the broken mirror to solve this potential issue. You know what? You don't have to.
Removing the old mirror was very easy, a 10 mm socket drive is all you need. Putting this replacement on, connecting the wire plug, took me just another 5 minutes. The connector and the wiring are exactly same as the original.
