Full of estrogen-mimicking butylparaben
May 30, 2019
The top non-medicinal ingredient in this preparation is butylparaben, which has "weak estrogenic effect." We've seen all sorts of personal care products come out paraben-free, but Tylenol is still feeding it to babies! Standard toxicology methods do not safely account for hormone disruptors. We have no idea what giving hormone mimicking chemicals to infants does. It's not poison, but science can't determine whether it has subtle effects on sexual development. I have no idea why more parents aren't making noise about this!
