Top positive review
Superb quality and easiness of installation

Wow what a product! I'm not sure why I held back on buying a premium CPU cooler but I'm very glad I did with such a company noted for their quality. Coming from a Coolmaster 212 Evo results on startup were instantaneous; I went from a 40C to 33C average running a Haswell 4670K at 4.0Ghz, a generation of CPUs known for their high temperatures. With this new cooler I now feel more confident in further overclocking my CPU.
I've included pictures detailing my build. The case I am using is a Rosewill Blackhawk Mid Tower case. Before purchasing the Noctua I had contemplated on getting a water cooler, specifically the Corsair H100 series. However I soon found out that it was not compatible with my case (I would have to do some cutting and drilling to the top of my case).
Furthermore, there was the issue of RAM clearance. My previous Coolmaster had very little clearance over my G.SKILL Ripjaws already, so I had to consider any upgrades carefully, given the increase in bulkiness and potential height. I did some rough calculations of the heights based on the specifications listed on websites, but in the end it was still a risk.
Luckily it all worked out! Any to my relief had more space over my RAM in case I decide to purchase another CPU fan. Installation was easy; any necessary tools are provided—even a long Phillips head on the long end of a hex key. They also give an ample amount of thermal paste, good for many years of use.
So for anyone with my case, definitely consider Noctua's NH-Dxx series coolers as they are indeed compatible and I would say one of the best air-coolers on the market. I will Definitely purchase from this company again.
