It was super easy to twist onto a Woods brand butane/propane tank which is offered at Canadian Tire for budget. 100% Compatible. If you're thinking of backpacking the Peak 1 isn't as lightweight as others I've used but it compensates with sturdy construction. The flame intensity is adjustable. This be a great addition for the camping trip I'm planning this summer.
The slight weight advantage of some much more expensive hiking stoves is more than made up by the quality construction and the excellent burner design which distributes the heat to avoid hot spots like some of the lighter models. The heat shield protects your fingers when adjusting the burner intensity. Light and small enough to use for hiking with the dependable quality of Coleman. The folding pot stand works perfectly for both small and large pots.
A little bigger than expected but rugged and reliable. Using this for ultralight thru-hiking. There is a clip on the burner that makes is super easy to remove and the arms slide around the middle for more compact storage.
