Same old formula in a new setting
on April 30, 2017
All gamers know what they're getting with each COD release as their formula rarely veers from the norm. For me this is a good thing as I love the 'pick up and play' fix I get with this franchise. Infinite warfare continues along the path in a futuristic setting in space, yes, space. Though I prefer their WWII and current era instalments, the futuristic setting actually works. The campaign is fairly benign as per usual, but I always appreciate the fact that it still exists, even if the stories are fairly shallow and brief. What I love about COD is obviously it's polished multiplayer along with the brilliant Zombies that usually comes with the Treyarch team. In this case, I believe this is Activision's first time tackling zombies, and man, did they knock it out of the park. The 80's themed theme park is absolutely brilliant and adds a number of new features to the table. All around it's a solid game and for the price, you get three experiences in one. If you like shooting stuff, it's a no brainer.
