Top critical review
This toilet paper is a joke.

Our local Costco stopped carrying Charmin Ultra Strong, so we bought their Kirkland brand as a stopgap. The Kirkland was terrible, very thin, scratchy and left fluff all over the place so we turned to Amazon to try to find a comparable replacement at a reasonable cost.
This Cottonelle is really not much of an improvement at all and after reading good reviews on Amazon and other sites, we were majorly disappointed. The paper is much thicker than the Kirkland and any other basic toilet paper, but it is VERY rough. In thickness and texture it almost feels like a kitchen paper towel. Additionally, the rolls are tiny. I know it is not fair to compare it to the Kirkland rolls because those are massive (although the Charmin rolls are also the same size), but marketing these as "double rolls" feels like false advertisement. The width of the rolls is pathetic - they only take up maybe 70% of the width of our toilet paper holders. Due to the pattern on the paper, the rolls are very squishy and compressible so there is even less paper on the roll than it appears because so much space is taken up by air. The roll may be double in SIZE compared to a standard toilet paper roll, but I'd be willing to bet that if you compared weight, these Cottonelle rolls would not be any heavier since the extra size seems to only come from the extra air space.
Overall, this toilet paper is not worth purchasing. It is thicker than basic toilet paper but much less comfortable to use due to its roughness and lack of flexibility (because of the thickness) and the rolls are very small in size. Compared to Charmin, this is like wiping with sandpaper.
