Super sturdy, sexy, and easy to work with. Lots of room for midsize case for components and cable management. Two chassis fans on the back and top that allow for increased airflow. Sleek design with large front window that allows you to look at your beautiful creation.
My cleanest build ever. Superb cable management, well thought out . Very sexy appearance. The company has put a lot of forthought into the design. They appear to listen to their customers - Many previous reviews critical of the lame filter on the bottom but that appears to be fixed now - mine came with the full sturdy filter just like the 440 model. Agree with the others - the window IS plastic and scratches if you even look at it. Subtract 1/2 star. Suggestion: Use gloves when unboxing and assembling. I put the sides and front away inside towels while building, then attached them when done. Airflow was excellent. i5 6600k staying well below 35c using air cooling.
One very annoying con: That HDD cage in the bottom of the case is awefull. My HGST 4Tb rattles like crazy in there -- every click -- every seek. Drove me crazy. If only there were just little more space on those rails to fit silicon washers thereby isolating the mechanical vibrations. 1/4" on either side would be enough or better yet, put in the rubber pads into the holes, like those nzxt 140 mm fans. Subtract one star! Still... -- it's so very very pretty,
This was my first purchase of a computer case on Amazon.
I was faced with either going with the S340 or the S340 Elite. I ended up going with the S340 as it was less expensive than the S340 Elite at the expense of no tempered glass. As the case was for my younger son, I didn't want to risk having the tempered glass shattering at any point.
The case came very well packed, is gorgeous and is very well designed. Inside of the case I fit a PRIME Z270-A motherboard and the NZXT X62 Kraken watercooling system just perfectly.
Only two cons to the case that I found:
- the case-equipped USB 3.0 connector fit very tightly onto my motherboard, perhaps a flaw of the motherboard design more than the case design. - if properly installed, no wires are visible through the case window however the wires are very tightly packed in the back of the case. I was still able to close the panel without issue.
I bought this the other day direct from Amazon when they dropped the price to $72, great deal. Lots of nice features and very well built. Everything fits nicely together, no rough edges, nothing unfinished, a well thought out design. The side panels are double thickness with rolled edges and reinforcement rails to prevent flexing. The paint is very nice, this thing is built like a nice mid priced automobile. Make sure your power supply has nice long leads though, my Gigabyte board requires 2 ATX leads for the CPU that plug in right at the top of the case when the board is mounted, it was a bit of a stretch on my Antec PSU and required some creative routing to get them there.
There are a few quirks, like there's no reset switch for example, just power, and the wiring can be a bit tight in places like the power and data connections on the 3.5 inch drive bay underneath are pretty close when it comes time to put the back panel back on. The case is very well sealed, noise levels are good and dust filters keep the inside clean. The thermals are fantastic, overall system temps are low and I mounted a Corsair H60 radiator on the front wall with the fan pulling through the rad and exhausting out the front through the dust filter into the chimney stack space designed into the front panel, idle temps of 0 to 5 degrees on an FX6300 are my normal with this case. Just buy it, take your time with the install and the case will reward you with a great looking, great performing PC.
Nice looking sleek case, so nice its on my desk instead of underneath. Has nice cable management latches on the back which makes cable routing a lot easier. Comes with two fans that are actually quiet, and airflow in the case is awesome aswell. People say the clear plastic scratches easily, i would suggest being careful because mine has not scratched yet and its come in contact with a few things so far. Just be careful. Overall great product that looks great.
Definitely an amazing case, easy and fun to work with, everything is fast and clear to install. There's plenty of space in it since I have a Micro-ATX motherboard, but I have no doubt that there'd still be a lot of space in it with an ATX motherboard. The only negative thing I'd have to say is about the bay window : it's actually just plastic and surprisingly it doesn't really feel like that, but god, it's so easy scratch ! I passed a towel on it to remove dust, and then I saw a lot of tiny scratches on it. Fortunately they are barely noticeable unless you shine a light on the window and look very closely, so it's obviously not a deal breaker. Otherwise, I just don't find anything bad to say about it. Very aesthetic case, would definitely recommend.
I like this case a lot. It was pretty easy to build in, my first time starting from scratch in a case (although, using a mobo, cpu, etc from an old pre-built). I hoped that it would quite my old system but it is just as loud. Probably mainly from the PSU and CPU coolers. Maybe I'll switch them out, or save for some new components (right now using an i7-920)!
