Be careful when using with Zenith Extreme Motherboard.
August 13, 2018
While the rgb lighting are great, these sticks arent the most compatible with Zenith Extreme motherboard. Channel 2 simply dont work with those sticks and produces a boot loop while channel 1 worked partially. But, most of the time, it didnt post neither passed the bios when the board is populated with those sticks. It was a real pain to troubleshoot but was finally able to pinned down the issue and it was caused by them. When i put 4 sticks, for a total of 32gb of rams, my board gave an error of Code 19 or 20 Detect Memory on LiveDash OLED and had trouble to post. Oddly enough, when i removed one random stick, for a total of 24gb, it ran normally. But.... YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO RUN WITH ONLY 3 RAM!
So i decided to test if it was the sticks or my board that was problematic. I took 8 standard sticks of Gskill Ripjaws, for a total of 128gb, to populate all DIMM slots and hold and behold it ran normal, no error on the horizon. That's how it came to my conclusion that the kit was faulty.
And, to top it all, mine did not sync’d or worked with Asus Aura Sync.
I recommended to stay out of it if you planned to use it on Zenith Extreme and use something else like Gskill Trident Z which also works with Asus Aura and ran smoothly out of the box.
