Beautiful but missing a piece
October 12, 2018
Back in 2013, I got it in my head to build an EATX system. I've lived with massive cases like the HAF-XB and the InWin Grone since then. Being able to bring it down to a mid-tower that's actually built with EATX in mind if absolutely wonderful. The case itself is lovely to look at featuring accent RGB lighting and a large glass side panel. It's a sleek and clean look compared to the cases of the past. There is plenty of space to run cables neatly including two velcro tie-downs and a large channel behind and below the motherboard. Installation was easy with the help of the hole in the floor allowing clean wiring to my SLI cards and the many passageways for cables to other various components.
My only complaint with my order is that strangely, I received 2 magnetic dust filters for the top of the case and no PSU filter. The pictures here on Amazon and Phanteks site itself show the case as having a removable dust filter for the PSU, mine did not come with this.
If someone could reach out to me it'd be much appreciated but for the meantime, I'll have to figure out my own solution, likely a 120 magnetic filter, as I'd rather not move the system back and forth between cases. I have found no listings for buying the PSU filter on it's own available.
