Just like the original Hyper 212 Evo this heatsink doesn't disappoint. Using the same motherboard and cpu, during AIDA64 torture test it is only a few degrees higher than using a Coolermaster 240mm AIO after 2 hours burn-in on a Ryzen 7 1700X clocked at 3.9Ghz @ 1.35V.
I just replaced my stock cooler in my old Acer model (which was now louder than the bathroom fan) with this nice looking and much quieter fan , I only had to make a few slight mods to the case when I found that the cooler was touching the inside slightly , . but in the end am much happy with this cooler and will get another one for a future build
well built, solid, spent an extra $10 to get it in black if I had all 4 ram slots filled the fan would be hitting one of them, so either get low profile ram, or a thin fan and there should be no issue, but it keeps a 8700k at 27 C
